((This was an interesting project on the other forums so I thought I bring it over here as well, this is a one shot from everyone participating. Describe a day in the life of your character, what they do from waking to going to bed, can be any length and most of all have fun with it!))
Iliette Guillestet
Iliette got up to the warm rays of sunshine going through her window, the gentle breeze waving the curtains and a certain kitten laying alongside her in a similar fashion as she was. Her armor, with chinks and breaks and the occasional rust, lay across the floor along with some of her other belongings and heads out to the shroud.
The morning was nice, no people so no distraction, the small amount of people that were there, were setting up their stalls for the market. She occasionally waved them by as she passed, but nothing major. The forest surrounding the city was the destination and Iliette didn't hesitate to get there.
She took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the fresh air, and the hunt began. She lay on top of trees waiting for her prey. A wild boar, Ywain used this beast to test her peers, but Iliette never got to that stage. She will try her luck today. This wasn't her first time either, neither was it her first foe. She would seek out creatures threatening the shroud and would dispatch them as quickly as she could. They suited her for training and the villages remained unharmed. Win-Win! She needed to train, especially now, since her work picked up, she needs to be in top shape.
The hunt lasted hours, and the beast was not taken down. Iliette however had some new scars to show for it. When she successfully got away from the beast, hiding in a whole, she removed a piece of her armor and a piece of a small tusk stuck in her side. The blood gushed from he wound, but she took out a piece of thread and needle and sew herself up. "I should get this checked out, when I get back..." she thought. The armor had a new chip on it, which bothered her more then the injury. "This costs way too much gil to fix.."
It was night when she got back, her side still bleeding, she went straight to her room and examined the message left by the desk "A small job... Wonder who is it from..." she thought as she collapsed on the already messy bed not bothering to remove her armor or her weapon from her side. This will eventually pay off...
